Drolma Lizcano, daughter of the founder Idili Lizcano, was born at the foot of the Pyrenees in Girona, Catalonia (Spain), surrounded by nature. Her admiration for her father and founder of the company ALQVIMIA started when she was very young. From a very early age she was very clear about her vocation to continue with this great cosmetic company when she grew up, where she is now the CEO. In fact, at the age of 9 she was already creating her own perfumes based on essential oils, which she named and priced.
She runs the company with passion and love, with a very clear purpose: to bring wellbeing to people, through the power of plants and from the respect for nature.
Since joining the business in 2013, Drolma has managed and led an important change in the organisation, implementing Holacracy, a form of self-management, without hierarchies, in which agility, efficiency and responsibility are prioritised. ALQVIMIA has thus become the first Spanish company to implement this system integrally throughout the company.
She states with conviction that:
"The most important thing in business (and life) is to do things with love. When decisions and actions are connected to the heart, as well as to the spirit, the result is sure to be transformed and materialised into something positive. This is how we run our business and we expect our employees and partners to do the same".

Can Duràn, the ALQVIMIA headquarters and workshop, a place in the middle of nature.
It all started in Can Duran, the place where Idili Lizcano decided to stay to start his life project. After almost 40 years later, we are still in the same farmhouse, in La Garrotxa, surrounded by nature. An idyllic place to create 100% natural haute cosmetics.
Can Camps, the seat of ALQVIMIA Academy
We created ALQVIMIA Academy to be able to share everything we know about aromatherapy and different disciplines through this online academy. Can Camps is our face-to-face academy, a farmhouse surrounded by nature where we carry out training, workshops and magical experiences.
Biodynamic garden
In our agricultural estate located in La Garrotxa, we have our own field to which we apply the biodynamic method to cultivate and harvest medicinal plants that supply us for the formulations of our products.
Factory&I+D
In modern facilities of more than 2000 m2, near Can Durán, our master formulas are elaborated, our products are stored and distributed all over the world. In our laboratory we subject raw materials and cosmetics to exhaustive quality controls.

Our Barcelona flagship store is the space where our products and customer experience reach their maximum expression. The expert hands of our professional therapists and beauticians become the best experience for our clients.
